Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and one of the 20 regions of Italy. It is one of the five Italian autonomous regions and is officially referred to as Regione Siciliana.
This piece is from artist's time in the island of Pantelleria. These are typical of the homes on the ancient island of Sicily with stucco exteriors, layers of paint and tiles that have seen the many years of time. Old and Beautiful.
